Relocruitment are delighted to be working alongside a well-established, customer focused removals company based in Hampshire. With over 20 years’ experience in the industry, they use the latest removals equipment and techniques to provide a high-level service.
They are now seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative (Reach Forklift) & Removal Driver (3.5t) to join their busy team based in Hampshire. A reach forklift license and experience within the removals industry are essential.
Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operative (Reach Forklift) - 2 Days per Week:
- Operate reach forklifts to move, load, and store goods safely within the warehouse.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, organizing stock, and inventory management.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed.
- Conduct daily equipment checks to ensure operational safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Removal Driver (3.5t) - 3 Days per Week:
- Drive a 3.5-ton vehicle to perform home and office removals, ensuring safe transport of goods to their destination.
- Carefully load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring minimal damage and safe handling of fragile goods.
- Plan efficient routes and manage time effectively to meet removal schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service, communicating clearly with clients during the removal process.
- Assist with disassembling and reassembling furniture as required.
Requirements:
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in removals (essential).
- Previous warehouse experience and reach forklift operation
Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license suitable for operating a 3.5-ton vehicle.
- Reach Forklift certification - willing to train if required
Skills:
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects safely.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
