Learning Support Assistant - SEN School in Bordon, East Hampshire - ASAP start!
Academics are recruiting on behalf of a warm and nurturing SEN school in Bordon, East Hampshire who are seeking a compassionate and hard working Learning Support Assistant to support on a 1:1 and group basis. Due to the nature of the pupils needs, the suitable person must have previous experience of supporting children with special needs and challenging behaviour. You will be required to carry out personal care duties.
This is an on-going, full-time contract starting ASAP.
The school is set in a rural part of Hampshire so ideally suited to someone who lives within the local vicinity. The school caters for children aged 2 - 19 with various special educational needs including autism, downs, PMLD and challenging behaviours. You will be joining a supportive and caring team who work well together to ensure all pupils are given the best possible start in life.
