We are seeking a permanent Management Accountant for a progressive Accountancy Firm in Borehamwood. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will handle practice assurance, regulatory compliance, financial management, and operational compliance. This is a full-time office based role.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts, providing analysis and designated reports
- Bookkeeping and VAT reporting to a high standard
- Cashflow reporting and forecasts
- Month/Quarter end adjustments and reconciliations
- Providing support to junior members of staff, including training where required
- Work as part of a team and when required to:
- Prepare ad hoc reports for clients
- Perform payment runs
Experience required:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience in professional practice
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels
- Knowledge of professional service firms
- Proactive, self-motivated, and driven to suggest improvements
