Our client are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Admin and Accounts Officer to join their small and friendly team. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial management and administrative support, with proficiency in Xero ideally. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operations run smoothly and the financial processes remain accurate and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations using Xero.
- Assist in preparing the monthly reports
- Manage client and supplier information, ensuring data accuracy.
- Raising purchase orders and ensuring accurate recharging of sub contractor invoices
- Respond to enquiries from clients, suppliers, and stakeholders professionally and promptly.
- Effectively use Xero to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for automation and optimisation within financial and administrative processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an administrative or financial role.
- Proficiency in Xero is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
