The RoleAs part of the finance team, you will manage accounts payable activities, ensuring the smooth processing of invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, and maintaining a healthy aged payables report. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help document and improve finance procedures while supporting ad hoc administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Process invoices, manage accounting entries, and ensure timely financial transactions.
- Complete accounts payable reconciliations and support general ledger reporting.
- Adhere to month-end timetables, completing all required tasks accurately and on time.
- Contribute to the maintenance and implementation of updated finance procedures.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required to support the finance department.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Assistant or in a similar role.
- Studying towards AAT, ACCA, or CIMA qualifications (advantageous).
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting concepts.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
