Day-to-day of the role:
- Handle inbound customer enquiries professionally, offering accurate information and resolving issues with outstanding customer service.
- Build relationships with existing customers to cross-sell and upsell, maximising basket spend.
- Generate new sales leads and escalate business opportunities.
- Go the extra mile with customers via phone and email to ensure their requirements are fulfilled.
- Work closely with the customer service manager and internal teams to ensure a high level of customer service is consistently delivered.
- Prepare sampling requests to be dispatched daily.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Manage DPD issues including customer returns and collections.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven customer support experience.
- Strong telephone handling skills and active listening skills.
- Ability to respond and react to customers in various scenarios.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
- Professional manner when handling disputes across all communication methods.
