We are looking for a motivated and driven Business Development Manager with an entrepreneurial flair to join a global market leader in the beverage industry to drive business growth for their UK brands in the UK and Ireland.As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and maximising on new opportunities to expand their market presence within UK and Ireland.  The role will involve building and nurturing connections within the industry, fostering relationships with existing partners and developing new business opportunities.  We would like to hear from experienced sales professionals with proven experience within the food and beverage industry, who is passionate about sales and nurturing relationships.  Key responsibilities as a BDM will include:
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, potential customers, and competitors in the industry in UK and Ireland.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth.
  • Develop strong relationships with existing partners and distributors to maximise opportunities and loyalty.
  • Provide regular reports on market developments, opportunities, and performance to the senior management team.
  • Represent the brand at trade shows, events, and exhibitions to network.
Requirements to be considered as a BDM:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within the food and beverage industry.
  • Profound knowledge of industry trends, materials, and product applications.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
