Sales Support Executive

OA are recruiting for a Sales Support Executive to join our client’s growing team!

Our client provides cutting-edge on-site wireless communication solutions, including paging systems, two-way radios, critical alarms, call button solutions, and Gen2 messaging and alarm monitoring software. Their solutions are trusted by 5-star hotels, investment banks, leading retailers, super-yachts, football stadiums, museums, and global restaurant groups.

Location: Borehamwood

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm. Office based.

Salary: £26,000-£30,000 – depending on experience

Sales Support Executive - Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Senior Account Managers and the Sales Support team to gain in-depth knowledge of products, systems, and solutions, with structured training across departments.
  • Manage sales administration tasks, including raising quotations and sales orders, CRM updates, research, documentation, and diary management.
  • Make calls to internal and external stakeholders to confirm installation dates, parts availability, and other relevant details.
  • Handle inbound client calls when required to support Account Managers and colleagues.
  • Liaise with Sales, Warehouse, Logistics, and Shipping teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate client records, updating CRM systems with appointment details, documentation, and relevant communications.

Sales Support - Skills and Experience:

  • You’ll need a minimum of three years’ experience of sales support (ideally in a technical, manufacturing, or engineering environment)
  • Experience in a process-driven environment (ISO preferred) with good understanding of workflow methodology
  • Excellent attention to detail – product codes and strong numeracy essential
  • Proficient with MS Office 365, MS Teams, CRM/SOP data entry (Sage ideally, or similar)
  • Customer-focused professional telephone manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required as you will work with other teams internally as well as our customers
