Description

Key responsibilities of credit controller:

  • Managing customer accounts and ensuring timely payment of their invoices.
  • Resolving customer queries related to invoices and payments.
  • Working closely with the sales team to implement credit policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring customer accounts for delayed payments and other irregularities.
  • Reviewing credit applications and references to set credit limits and terms.
  • Producing monthly reports and statement reconciliations.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer data.
  • Assisting in the monthly close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • Escalation to legal experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
