Exciting new job opportunity for an experienced Care Manager.

We're delighted to be working with a highly regarded local care home to find their next Home Manager. This role is perfect for an experienced manager, or deputy looking to join a highly regarded dementia care provider.

Located near Borehamwood this care home offers high quality person centred care in a bright modern care environment for up to 35 people who are living with dementia.

Requirements:

  • You should be qualified with the Level 5 Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current experience of managing a care home, with a particular focus on dementia care.
  • An understanding of CQC regulation and a history of achieving "Good" or "Outstanding" outcomes within your home.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the home is delivering the highest possible standards of care, through regular audit, satisfaction surveys and the sharing of ideas and best practice.
  • Effectively manage the financial aspects of the home, including oversight of profit & loss statements.
  • Staff recruitment and retention.
  • Ensure that the staff team undergoes regular supervision, performance evaluations, and receives the requisite training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Conduct assessments and reviews in an ongoing effort to enhance resident care.
  • Foster and nurture community connections to generate increased opportunities for the home's residents.

Salary and benefits:

  • 50,000-60,000pa DOSE
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
