Are you an experienced Principal level Electrical Engineer looking to advance your career? This growing company is expanding its design team due to significant growth and is seeking a skilled professional to support ongoing construction projects. Based in Borehamwood, South Herts, with frequent travel across the UK, you will produce and manage designs for a range of electrical infrastructure projects, including solar and battery storage.

In this role, you will provide technical and commercial support, assist with tender bids, and prepare detailed designs and specifications for high voltage equipment and substation projects. Your expertise in power systems, renewable energy, and protection design at all voltages will be essential.

To excel, you should have a degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, a valid UK driving licence, and proficiency in Bentley Microstation, CYMCAP, Sketchup, Mathcad, MS Project, P6, and AutoCAD. Experience with substation construction, cabling, overhead lines, switchgear, and protection/control systems is crucial.
