Are you an experienced Audit professional ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for an Audit Supervisor to deliver high-quality auditing and assurance services to a diverse client base while mentoring and developing junior team members in Borehamwood.This is a hybrid role in the office for 3 days per week, remote for 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing client audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervising, training, and mentoring audit team members to support their professional development.
  • Reviewing and preparing financial statements across a variety of client assignments.
  • Gaining a strong understanding of clients' businesses and financial operations.
  • Engaging proactively with client management to gather information, resolve issues, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Leading and coordinating audit teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Conducting substantive and compliance testing, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Addressing audit review queries and ensuring all action points are completed effectively.
What We're Looking For:

We're keen to speak with ACA/ACCA-qualified professionals who have a strong background in auditing across a variety of industries. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in a professional accounting practice, ideally at a supervisory level.
  • A degree in Accountancy or a related subject.
  • A solid understanding of audit methodologies, risk assessment, and control evaluation.
  • Strong technical skills in accounting and audit software.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
