Our client is seeking a Credit Control Supervisor to lead a team of 4 Credit Controllers, managing high-volume live accounts whilst overseeing a large ledger for a well-established organisation in the healthcare sector. This is initially a temporary role with prospects to convert to a permanent employee.

The Role:

As the Credit Control Supervisor, you will take responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the credit control team. Your focus will be on managing overdue debt and ensuring a smooth and efficient credit control function across multiple business units.

Duties of the Credit Control Supervisor include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of 4 Credit Controllers.
  • Managing a large ledger and handling high volumes of live accounts.
  • Chasing overdue debt and resolving queries both internally and externally.
  • Updating sales ledgers, cash forecasts, and debtors reports regularly.
  • Liaising with the contracts and referrals teams on any funding-related queries or adjustments.
  • Reporting regularly to senior management on debt status and account performance, using Excel for detailed reporting and analysis.

Requirements for the Credit Control Supervisor include:

  • Proven experience in a credit control role with supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster a positive work environment amongst the team.
  • Strong Excel skills, including proficiency with VLOOKUP and other key functions.
  • A proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to handle a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
