We're working closely with a vibrant and nurturing school in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly setting that values teamwork, creativity, and the power of early education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching and learning activities planned by the Early Years Leader
  • Work with groups or individual pupils, tailoring activities to meet their needs
  • Observe, assess, and report on children's progress
  • Provide social, emotional, and academic support to pupils, including those with additional needs or English as an additional language
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining resources and displays
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals
  • Supervise pupils during class, break, lunchtime, and on trips when required

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 or above in an approved Early Years/EYFS qualification
  • Solid understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development
  • Basic First Aid knowledge (Paediatric First Aid preferred)
  • Confident use of ICT to support learning
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with a flexible and proactive attitude
