Are you a highly experienced multi-site Operations Lead seeking a new exciting and challenging role within the health sector? If so, join Elysium Healthcare as the Regional Operations Lead for the Learning Disabilities and Autism (LD&A) services across North and Midlands region.

You will be responsible for the overall operational management of the LD&A hospitals and care homes. You will be maximising the financial performance of these services, developing the business potential, achieving financial targets, ensuring all sites meet contractual obligations and implementing key clinical targets agreed for the LD&A pathways.

As the Regional Operations Lead, you will be:

  • Maximising the financial performance of these services, whilst maintaining high quality service standards.
  • Developing the business potential of these services, and new developments within area of responsibility.
  • An active member of the Regional Operational and Clinical Governance (ROCG) group for the LD & Autism region.
  • Achieving financial targets, by maintaining agreed occupancy levels and ensuring that costs are controlled within agreed parameters.
  • Ensuring each site has an effective service governance forum, to meet local and corporate targets.
  • Ensuring all sites meet its contractual obligations (NHSE/CCG/Local Authority).
  • Maintaining quality and improve practice to ensure CQC and safeguarding compliance.
  • Implementing key clinical targets agreed for the LD & Autism pathways.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant experience of working in a similar environment.
  • 5 years managerial experience within a senior management role.
  • Proven track record of achieving goals and targets.
  • Operational experience of health sector, more so Learning Disability and Autism sector.
  • Evidence of general senior management development preferably within the health/social sector.
  • Ability to provide commercial input at senior management level.
  • Confident, adaptable, resilient, and commercially aware.
  • High degree of presence and ability to engage people.
  • Knowledge of business strategy, planning, financial management, HR legislation, management development and organisational change.
  • Knowledge of non-clinical operational activities within a health sector organisation.
  • Knowledge of relevant LD&A legislation and application which drives and informs service delivery.
  • Knowledge of commissioning of independent services to inform business management and growth.
