We're working with a growing managed services provider that's expanding its support team due to continued success and new client wins. This is a fantastic opportunity for a 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer looking to build on their experience and progress in a fast-paced and tech-focused environment.

About the Role:This is a hands-on, fully on-site role based at the company's Borehamwood office. You'll be responsible for delivering and maintaining clients' IT infrastructure-primarily built on modern Microsoft technologies. While the majority of the work is office-based, occasional travel to client sites may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st/ 2nd line support for client environments
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Escalate tickets when appropriate while maintaining ownership
  • Support cloud and on-prem infrastructure (MS 365, Azure, Windows Server)
  • Contribute to project rollouts and system upgrades
  • Deliver excellent customer service across all touchpoints

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 2-3 years in a 1st Line or 2nd Line support
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience supporting the following:
  • Microsoft 365
  • Active Directory
  • Windows Server 2022
  • Networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

Additional Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Microsoft Intune
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Windows Server 2025 (preview/build exposure)
  • Security platforms such as Barracuda or Mimecast
  • Basic firewall & networking experience (e.g., SonicWall, UniFi, HPE Aruba)
  • Exposure to device management and endpoint security
