We are looking for an IT specialist who can provide specialist management know-how in this crucial area so that this local school may continue to thrive and prosper.
About the role:As the IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing support and service delivery for the IT Network. Your duties as an IT Technician can include:

Working with senior staff members on strategic planning

Responsibility for technical support and service delivery.

Maintenance of servers, software packages, IT equipment and audio/visual hardware.

Development and implementation of IT strategy.

Ensuring the school complies with its GDPR obligations.
- Experience in 2nd line of support
- Must be available ASAP to start!
- Must have a enhanced DBS

Experience planning and upgrading a school IT Network system.

An excellent understanding of the requirements and responsibilities of working within a school environment

Experience working in a school or college environment as an IT Technician or similar.

Experience working with outside contractors to provide excellent value for money.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

Commitment to the school’s vision.
