2nd Line Support Engineer (IT)

At Engage Education Services, we’ve specialised in recruiting education staff to work in all kinds of roles in schools for over a decade. We’re currently looking for a dedicated and hardworking 2nd Line Support Engineer (IT) to work full-timeat a fantastic school in Hertfordshire.

Our team has built an excellent reputation in the local area, and we’re looking for more high-quality IT technicians to work with these schools and ensure they continue to run smoothly.

We are looking for an IT specialist who can provide specialist management know-how in this crucial area so that this local school may continue to thrive and prosper.

As the IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing support and service delivery for the IT Network. Your duties as an IT Technician can include:

• Working with senior staff members on strategic planning

• Responsibility for technical support and service delivery.

• Maintenance of servers, software packages, IT equipment and audio/visual hardware.

• Development and implementation of IT strategy.

• Ensuring the school complies with its GDPR obligations.

• Experience in 2nd line of support
• Must be available ASAP to start!
• Must have a enhanced DBS

• Experience planning and upgrading a school IT Network system.

• An excellent understanding of the requirements and responsibilities of working within a school environment

• Experience working in a school or college environment as an IT Technician or similar.

• Experience working with outside contractors to provide excellent value for money.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

• Commitment to the school’s vision.

• We pay all our staff in line with the Agency Worker Regulations, meaning your pay will be equal to that of a permanent employee
