Insurance Administrator

OA is recruiting an Insurance Administrator to join our client’s thriving and expanding team.

We’re seeking a detail-oriented individual to join the Cosmetic Insurance team. The ideal candidate will have previous administration experience and be confident in delivering outstanding customer service.

This role also offers great potential for growth and progression within the company.

Location: Borehamwood

Hours: Full-time. Monday – Friday. 9am-5:30. Hybrid working available following successful training.

Salary: Up to £25,000

Insurance Administrator - Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing new business, renewals, revised renewals, lapses (including issuing receipts) and mid-term adjustments
  • Preparing written responses to routine enquiries
  • Providing first line telephone support where needed
  • Credit control supporting including contacting parties for outstanding payments
  • Building relationships with clients, insurer partners, affiliates and other third parties.
  • Accurately enter data onto client records and complete this within the agreed service standards.

Insurance Administrator - Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in an administrative or customer service role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Great organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • The ability to adapt to different tasks at short notice and take initiative
  • Enthusiasm to learn new skills
  • The ability to work in a team
  • A sound level of written and verbal communication along with good numerical skills
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • A basic understanding of the insurance or financial services industry will be useful but not essential.
