Your new company We are recruiting for an experienced QA Manager to join a growing pharmaceutical company based in Elstree. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop the Quality Assurance team while ensuring compliance with GDP and GMP regulations.Your new roleThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance within the pharmaceutical industry and a proven track record of managing QMS processes, team leadership and regulatory compliance.What you'll need to succeedKey responsibilities:

  • Oversee the company's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with GDP, GMP, and MHRA requirements.
  • Manage key quality processes, including deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and risk assessments.
  • Lead internal audits, supplier audits, and inspection readiness activities.
  • Train, mentor, and support the QA team to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure data integrity and the quality of third-party contractors and suppliers.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and address any deviations effectively.
  • Coordinate GDP and Falsified Medicines training for relevant staff.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree in a relevant scientific or pharmaceutical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of GDP, GMP, and pharmaceutical regulations.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing quality assurance teams.
  • Proven ability to handle audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
