The Role of Workshop Engineer:

  • Based in the Elstree workshop, you will be repairing, refurbishing, and maintaining a range of machines which have been returned to the workshop.
  • Working on electrical systems, as well as mechanical components, alongside small, pressurised steam systems.
  • You'll carry out pre-delivery checks, wiring and mechanical modifications as well as recording any issues and fixing equipment so that it will pass installation criteria on customer's site.
  • Joining an existing, established team, primarily working 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday, you will be testing your existing engineering knowledge and develop new skills along the way.

The Candidate for the Workshop Engineer:

  • You will be an engineer or technician looking for an exciting new challenge
  • Electro-mechanical engineering experience
  • A problem solver
  • Able to commute to the Elstree workshop daily
  • Good communication and IT skills
