As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the complete payroll process for a wide range of clients.This role offers the flexibility to work mostly from home, with only one day per week required in the office.  Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all payroll functions, including statutory payments, deductions, auto-enrollment, payment processing, and year-end reporting.
  • Process payroll for a diverse client base, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Provide exceptional client service by promptly and professionally addressing payroll-related queries.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation to ensure continuous compliance with all processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team and provide support to colleagues as needed.
Requirements:
  • In-depth understanding of payroll and auto-enrollment legislation and processes.
  • Strong knowledge of IRIS (STAR) payroll software is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator, preferably within an accountancy firm.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Capable of managing client relationships with professionalism and efficiency.
