Salary: £26,000 per annum + £2900 Shift AllowanceLocation: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire (WD)Hours: Monday to Friday, 6 AM - 2 PM & 11AM – 7PMThis is an excellent opportunity for a local candidate who enjoys working within quality & compliance with the scientific industry. All training is provided, but you will need ideally a year of experience working in a GMP/Quality/Warehousing role that involves testing. You will need a valid license and car to get to work as there are very limited public transport links nearby. 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and release materials for use in manufacturing according to specifications.
  • Perform various sampling & analysis tests in line with Standard Operating Procedures, and GMP.
  • Prepare reagents, standards, and control samples; contribute to general laboratory housekeeping duties.
  • Promptly report deviations and out-of-specification results; assist with investigations as required.
  •  Read, collate, report, and archive results using defined documentation and computer systems eg. (e.g., LIMS & SAP).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A Level in a science (eg. chemistry or biology)
  • Experience with analytical testing or environmental sampling.
  • Familiarity with GMP and standard laboratory procedures.
  • Proficiency in laboratory equipment and data analysis software.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and reporting skills.

Must be to work in the UK indefinitely, as this role cannot be sponsored.
