Assistant Property Manager

Assistant block property manager, to join vibrant and supportive office based in Hertfordshire.

This role will offer you the opportunity to grow and progress within the block management sector, working alongside Property Managers, on the frontline of portfolio management. Our client is a successful and entrepreneurial property development the UK with a pipeline of residential, commercial, and industrial units.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant Leasehold Block Management Experience is preferred.
  • A good understanding of property maintenance and overseeing in house contractors, as well as third party contractors.
  • Dealing with ad hoc problems and unforeseeable situations
  • Minimum of 12 months specific leasehold property management experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office - specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with resident issues appropriately
  • Creation of purchase orders/cheque requests/credit notes
  • Credit control and rent collection management.
  • Liaising with accounts over payments and receipts
  • Logging and management of all maintenance issues and arrange repairs & services.
  • Control of all Administration/Filing
  • Responsible for maintaining health and safety on the site.
  • Service Charge Budget setting
  • Aftersales interaction
  • Assisting with Property Managers in their day-to-day needs.
  • Creating new property packs for tenants.
