My client is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to manage the end-to-end candidate journey, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from application through to the first 30 days of employment. This role requires a proactive and data-driven individual who can deliver a speedy, efficient, and effective recruitment service while maintaining our organisational values of Respect, Integrity, Community, and Excellence.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial attraction to assessment and offer.
  • Create engaging, quality adverts in collaboration with hiring managers to maximise applicant responses.
  • Utilise various sourcing methods including CV database searches, social media, online job boards, and headhunting for senior positions.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with recruitment agencies and search firms.
  • Attend job fairs, arrange open days, and establish community links to enhance recruitment efforts.
  • Deliver market insights by keeping up with industry trends and maintaining credibility with stakeholders.
  • Manage the candidate selection process including pre-screening, shortlisting, and arranging interviews.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout, providing comprehensive feedback and managing expectations effectively.
  • Oversee the onboarding and induction processes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and smooth integration of new employees into the organisation.
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to maintain an effective induction process.
  • Manage the recruitment budget and contribute to financial planning within the recruitment function.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a recruitment role, preferably within a similar sector.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment metrics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and BambooHR.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
