Your role as a Science Teacher will be to deliver the curriculum through effective lesson planning, instruction, and hands-on experiments while ensuring student safety and fostering critical thinking. You will assess and evaluate student progress, manage the classroom, and maintain communication with parents and colleagues.

The Role - Science Teacher in Borehamwood
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or early careers teacher to join a fantastic department. This will be a maternity cover contract with an immediate start.
You should be confident teaching Science up to KS5, up to date with UK curriculum and confident in their ability to follow a scheme of work by creating exciting and engaging lesson plans.

About you:
- Hold qualified teacher Status or equivalent
- Recent experience working in UK schools
- Up to date with UK curriculum
- Specialist knowledge of Science
- Must have a valid Enhanced DBS
Key Points:
- Long-term contract covering Science up to KS5
- Must have QTS
- Pay Scale - M1 to UPS3 depending on experience
- Start after the October half term
- Pay: M1 to UPS3 depending on experience
