About the Role:
We are looking for compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Workers with their own cars to provide high-quality care for individuals in their homes across Watford and Enfield. As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will help support people to live independently, assisting with daily tasks, personal care, and offering companionship. This role requires travel between clients' homes, and therefore, access to a car is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including assistance with dressing, bathing, and grooming
  • Help clients with mobility, eating, and medication management
  • Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and shopping
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff
  • Promote independence, dignity, and respect for all clients
  • Ensure safety and well-being of clients during visits
  • Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality care

Requirements:

  • Own car and a full UK driving license (Essential for this role)
  • Previous experience in care work is preferred but not essential
  • Compassionate, reliable, and patient with a passion for helping others
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Ability to follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
  • Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this process)
