Project Manager
Wetherby | £50,000 - £55,000 | Full-time
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Project Manager to join a successful and growing business based in Wetherby. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of national, multi-phase fit-out projects from tender to completion, working across office and site environments.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in internal fit-out works, commercial awareness, and experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. This is a key role with responsibility for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key duties will include:
- Full project ownership from tender handover to final delivery
- Leading the planning, coordination, and execution of national, multi-trade fit-out projects
- Managing project costs, procurement, subcontractors, and labour
- Maintaining strong communication with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Ensuring all Health & Safety, CDM, and legal requirements are met
- Handling contract variations, delay management, and commercial reporting
- Building strong client relationships to encourage repeat business
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to company procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience in internal fit-out project management
- Management of Sub-Contractors both commercially and contractually
- Understanding of JCT and NEC forms of contract
- Knowledge of CDM regulations and H&S best practices
- Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- National travel as required
- Experience in the healthcare sector is an advantage but not essential
