Our growing client based in the Boston area is looking to recruit an E-Commerce manager on a fulltime permanent basis. Offering a hybrid working pattern of 2/3 days per week in the office. This brand new position has come about due to expansion of the wider marketing team. Reporting directly into the Head of Marketing you will be responsible for managing our clients website, ensuring they deliver a seamless and engaging customer experience. With almost 80% of our clients customers ordering through our website, this role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in e-commerce and digital marketing, who can support driving online sales growth and enhance our brand’s online presence.
Key Responsibilities of the Ecommerce Manager
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce site, including product listings are detailed and optimised to deliver right and relevant search results.
- Own the e-commerce function, creating a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Ensure the website is user-friendly, and regularly updated with new products, promotions, and content.
- Develop and execute an e-commerce sales strategy to support our online revenue and growth targets.
- Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, PPC, email marketing, social media advertising, and online promotions to generate sales leads and increased basket spend.
- Enhance the online shopper journey to improve conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the e-commerce platform, such as traffic, conversion rates, and average order value.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to optimise product offerings and marketing efforts.
- Use web analytics tools to generate reports and insights to support the business in making data-driven decisions to optimise our e-commerce strategy.
- Implement customer feedback mechanisms and monitor our online customer service issues to ensure these are responded to and resolved promptly and effectively.
- Work with our IT and external development teams to implement new features and troubleshoot technical issues.
To be considered for this role of E commerce Manager you will have worked in a similar role and have Google analytics and excel skills so you do data analysis.
The company are going through significant growth and so there is career development and growth for the successful candidate further down the line.
