GBR Recruitment Ltd are working in partnership with a highly respected & reputable agricultural tractors business,who produces state of the art farming machinery products, using the latest cutting-edge technology, supporting farming businesses UK wide.

On behalf of this clientGBR are currently recruiting for an experienced AfterSales Manager to cover UK wide, working directly with tractordealerships & farming businesses / independent farmers,focused onmanaging the After Sales / Servicing Agreements process, as well as giving technical support & advice to the customer base.

You will also carryout some tractor demonstrations, supporting the internal sales team, plus wider tractor dealer network.

UK AfterSales Manager Role Overview:

Overall aim of the role is to carry out After Sales / Service support duties, across the UK, working with a variety of agricultural / farming business, plus the dealer network, giving technical advice, guidance on the end using clients service plans, as well as demonstrating tractors to potential end using clients.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Proactively work with both dealers and sales staff to enhance customer loyalty through providing service support on farm and at the dealership.
  • Provide engaging training to individuals and groups on the whole range of Tractor Unitproducts plus associated technology (GPS etc.)
  • Promote the use of our technology products to dealers and provide training as required
  • Undertake machinery installations with dealers if required
  • Build customer relationships for long term benefit and profile raising of company brand, using coaching and training techniques
  • Attend exhibitions and shows on the stand and represent the company with a professional image at all times
  • Undertake demonstrations as required
  • Continually update your knowledge with regards to company products and keep up to date with industry developments and trends

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

  • You must have proven agricultural tractor / associated machinery experience within a tractor dealership or manufacturer
  • Service / After Sales experience in an Agri business
  • You must be happy to cover the whole of the UK
  • Knowledge of service repairs & service level agreements
  • Strong diagnostic / fault finding skills
  • Ability to train others in the use of the tractors & tractor tech
  • Strong technical knowledge of tractors (in cab & externally)
  • Mechanical, Electrical & Hydraulicsknowledge (ideal)
  • Precision farming knowledge inc. Autosteer, ISOBUS & RTK
  • Excellent professional communication skills
  • Customer focused attitude & strong business / commercial acumen
  • Passionate about all things farming / agri

This role could suit someone working in a Service Technician, After Sales Support, After Sales Manager, Service Manager, Technical Support,Service Support, Demonstrator or similar role.

This role covers the UK wide, so ideally would suit an Agri professional, living in the East Midlands, Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire or Northamptonshire areas.
