Position Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Risk Analyst who will deliver crucial analytical insights into customer behaviour. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in shaping and refining the company's credit and affordability strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance risk scorecards and affordability models using statistical techniques.
- Lead documentation and delivery of models, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Analyse customer behaviour data to provide insights for credit and affordability strategies.
- Collaborate across teams to integrate risk insights into overall strategies.
- Utilise internal and external data sources, including CRAs, for model development and validation.
- Monitor model performance and suggest optimizations.
- Provide expertise on credit risk and affordability to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects enhancing risk management capabilities.
Requirements:
- Experience in credit risk management and strategy development within consumer lending.
- Experience developing and implementing risk scorecards and machine learning models using SAS/Python/R.
- Proven experience of translating complex methodologies and principles into meaningful insight for senior leadership and other non-technical stakeholders.
