Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant (TA) Programme:
- Support teachers in delivering effective lessons across various subjects.
- Assist students in their individual learning, whether one-on-one or in small groups.
- Help manage the classroom, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
- Work with students with additional needs, adapting support where necessary.
- Participate in the planning and preparation of educational activities.
- Build positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and participation.
Requirements of the Teaching Assistant (TA) Programme:
- Experience in care, working with vulnerable adults, or roles like sports coaching or children’s entertainment.
- A genuine passion for supporting young learners and helping them thrive.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to meeting students’ needs.
- No formal qualifications required—just a willingness to learn and contribute.
- Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
