Registered Manager (NVQ4 or Nurse ) - Independent Nursing Home - £48,000 - £55,000

We’re looking for an experienced care home manager to take up a Registered Manager position within a lovely nursing home in Boston. With a stable and competent staff team, consistently Good CQC track record, beautiful yet comfortable surroundings and great reputation, this is a home perfect for a Registered Manager who enjoys managing a high-performing home. We’re looking for an experienced Manager with strong business acumen, the ability to maintain and develop relationships with commissioners and can work autonomously to deliver a top-quality service.

On offer for the Registered Manager is a salary of £48,000 - £55,000 plus performance bonus, flexitime, and pension scheme. It’s a relatively small capacity for a Nursing Home, with both residential and nursing clients living there, so very manageable and fully staffed.

The Registered Home Manager role

  • As the Registered Manager you’ll be responsible for the overall management of the Nursing home including business management.
  • Develop and implement Care Plans for each resident ensuring that they are person-centred
  • Ensure that home home is always fully compliant wit CQC and regulator requirements
  • In regard to recruitment you’ll ensure that suitably qualified and competent staff recruited, trained and retained.
  • Ensure that staff are up to date with their mandatory training, and also ensure that there are opportunities for staff to undergo further training and qualifications that will aid their development within the organisation.

The Successful Candidate

  • We’re looking for someone who enjoys being able to put their own stamp on things, and prefers the flexibility and autonomous decision-making that you get working for an independent provider rather than a large corporate.
  • You’ll have ideally worked as a Registered Manager / Home Manager previously within a residential home/ Nursing Home , but we will also people with Clinical Lead / Deputy Manager experience who can demonstrate experience in managing the business-side of running a home, such as accounts, budgets and negotiating with Commissioners.
  • You’ll need to be qualified to QCF level 5 / NVQ level 4 in health and social care and ideally a registered nurse. (not essential)
