Cover Supervisor – Step into Teaching

Want to gain valuable classroom experience before starting teacher training? GSL Education Lincolnshire is looking for a Cover Supervisor to support a secondary school in Boston.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Managing a classroom in the absence of the teacher.
Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring students remain engaged.
Maintaining a calm and productive learning environment.
Supporting students with their work and behaviour management.

What We’re Looking For:

A degree or strong subject knowledge.
Confidence in leading a classroom.
Previous experience with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, coaching).
A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
