Now Education is looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work across client schools in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. This is a great opportunity to work alongside dedicated staff in our client schools, who are vibrant and welcoming.

Roles include but are not limited to:

  • A passion for the progress of Primary School pupils.
  • Providing a stimulating work environment for students with additional needs
  • Liaising with parents, teachers, and external agencies to ensure social, emotional, and academic progress is made.
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of classroom activities.

The successful Teaching assistant should:

  • Possess a Teaching Assistant qualification (would consider candidates without qualification, but relevant experience with children is a must)
  • Be energetic and eager to support teaching and learning.
  • Be able to communicate well with students, colleagues and parents or carers.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Possess an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one through Now Education).
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
