About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Boston, Lincolnshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons.
- Providing individual and small group support to pupils.
- Assisting with classroom organisation and resources.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contributing to the wider life of the school.
Essential Requirements:
- An understanding of safeguarding procedures.
- A positive attitude and child-centric focus.
- Patience and calmness in all situations.
- A valid safeguarding certificate (or willing to complete one).
- An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service.
Desirable Requirements:
- A qualification in childcare and education or an education degree.
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
- Experience of using a range of learning support strategies.
