- Lead and support the night shift engineering team to maintain high operational standards.
- Ensure PPM plans are followed and updated as needed.
- Respond to breakdowns, analyse issues, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Manage contractors and ensure work meets safety and quality standards.
- Provide training to operators and engineers to improve performance.
- Maintain clear, accurate records using the company’s maintenance management system.
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure health and safety compliance.
- Support site audits and address any concerns promptly.
- Keep workshop and facilities clean and organised.
- 5+ years’ experience as a multi-skilled engineer, ideally in food manufacturing.
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role within engineering.
- Strong electrical skills with the ability to read and modify CAD and electrical drawings.
- Experience managing contractors and external resources.
- IT literate, with experience using maintenance systems (e.g., SAP).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
