As our Team Leader, you will ensure the welfare of day-old chicks and maintain the high standards of quality, hygiene, animal welfare, health and safety that are required. The Hatchery Hours are 3am-6pm there are varied shift patterns.
Key duties and responsibilities as our Team Leader:
- Daily production needs, in particular chick production
- Staff management
- Hygiene monitoring
- Training
- Hatchery planning
- Stores and supplies
- Working as part of a team to provide the highest welfare and quality standards.
Skills and experience required to become our Team Leader:
- Technical knowhow
- Computer skills
- Basic mathematics qualifications
- Access to own transport
- Previous hatchery experience.
