Are you an Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with Mechanical experience looking for in-house training to progress your career within a long-standing, reputable food manufacturing company that offer plenty of variety and the flexibility that shift work brings?

On offer an exciting opportunity where you will become a fundamental asset to the business. You will be performing planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of machinery such as automated, process and packing, extruders and conveying systems.

The company have been established for over 40 years and aim to be the UK's leading food supplier in their specialized industry. They pride themselves on their environmentally friendly background and continue to work towards sustainability in the future. They have now built a valuable reputation within the industry by providing clients with an excellent and smooth process every time.

The role would suit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer from a forces, plant, or industrial background looking for training to progress as a Maintenance Engineer within a renowned food manufacturing company.

The Role

  • Planned and reactive maintenance
  • Installation and commissioning of machinery
  • Training given on-the-job and through Electrical courses
  • 4 on 4 off, 7am - 7pm, 42 hours a week
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot breakdowns minimizing downtime.
  • Work collaboratively with the production teams to optimize performance

The Person

  • Mechanical / Electrical experience
  • Electrical / Mechanical maintenance qualifications
  • Experience working with FMCG
