Shift and Pay Information for Production Operative:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
  • £12.94 per hour

What you'll be doing as a Team Leader based in Butterwick:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of hatchery operatives.
  • Ensure optimal incubation and hatching conditions, monitoring temperature, humidity, and ventilation.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of hatchery production, including egg handling, incubation data, and chick quality.
  • Implement and enforce biosecurity protocols to prevent disease and ensure the health of hatchlings.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and improve hatchery processes and productivity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Assist in inventory management of supplies and equipment
  • Ability to work shifts (start times can vary)
