Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Secondary School

Location: Boston
Start Date: January 2025
Salary: £90 - £120 per day

Are you an experienced HLTA looking to make a difference in a secondary school setting? Do you have experience working with challenging behaviour and a passion for supporting students' progress? A secondary school in Boston is seeking a dedicated HLTA to join their team full-time starting in January 2025.

Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers by delivering planned lessons and interventions.
  • Work closely with students exhibiting challenging behaviour, implementing strategies to improve their engagement and learning.
  • Assist in the development of tailored behaviour plans.
  • Support the delivery of the curriculum to small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and positive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous HLTA experience or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience working with students with behavioural challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A resilient and proactive approach to managing challenging situations.
