GSL Education Lincolnshire is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a thriving secondary school in Boston. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA looking to take on more responsibility and support students in their academic progress.

The Role:

  • Delivering planned lessons in the absence of a teacher.
  • Supporting students aged 11-16 with their learning across different subjects.
  • Working closely with teachers to provide targeted intervention support.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Leading small group activities to reinforce learning.

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or significant TA experience in secondary education.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • A passion for working with young people and helping them succeed.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
