SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Boston, Lincolnshire

Salary: £88.95 - £105 per day

GSL Education is currently seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to work within schools in Boston, Lincolnshire.
Responsibilities:-
Providing one-to-one and small group support for children with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties.

Assisting with classroom activities and helping students access the curriculum in a way that suits their individual needs.

Supporting students’ social, emotional, and cognitive development in collaboration with teachers and SENCOs.

Using positive behaviour management strategies to support students in overcoming barriers to learning.

Helping with personal care and mobility support where required.

A relevant qualification in Education, Childcare, or Health and Social Care (Level 3 or equivalent preferred).

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN in an educational or care setting.

Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals.

A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to supporting students’ individual needs.

A DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
