They manage a vast farming operation and maintain joint ventures in fresh produce. They grow and package fresh, vegetables for wholesale and high-street retailers.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join their engineering team at their site in Fosdyke.
As a key member of the team, the Multi Skilled Engineer will provide high-level engineering services and technical support to ensure smooth operations, with a focus on reducing downtime through proactive use of the sites PM software.
06:00 - 18:00, 223 shift pattern
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute day-to-day maintenance tasks, including line improvements
- Implement solutions in line with the engineering strategy to reduce downtime
- Use root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement in plant performance
- Involvement in engineering projects from inception to delivery as required
- Drive towards a PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) culture
- Assist in setting machines alongside the operations team
- Provide a first-class engineering service
- Offer daily progress updates to the Site Engineering Lead
Minimum Skills / Experience:
- Time-served apprenticeship
- Electrical qualifications from a recognised body
- Mechanical qualifications from a recognised body
- NVQ Level 3 or BTEC Level 3 or equivalent
- Electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience with Logic Control (desirable)
