The role – Head of Art

The successful Head of Art will:

• Require the skill set and vision to support, guide and develop a well-resourced, friendly Art department
• Deliver creative, effective, and challenging Art curriculum, keeping up to date with developments in Art Education
• Track pupil progress
• Ensure you and the Art department promote the school ethos and values
• To monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum through data, observation and review of learning through books and schemes of learning.
• Attend all relevant departmental/leadership meetings
