The perfect opportunity for anyone looking for a part-time role in bookkeeping. The successful candidate will join a friendly team undertaking bookkeeping on behalf of a range of clients. Duties will include:
- Bookkeeping for a varied client base in a diverse range of industries
- Sales and purchase ledger
- Bank and credit card reconciliation
- Credit control
- Submission of VAT and CIS returns
- Making supplier payments
- Reconciling control accounts
- Preparation of management accounts
- Assisting clients with software including Sage, Xero and Quickbooks
Previous experience working within a bookkeeping bureau or firm of Accountants would be highly beneficial, but not essential. A strong knowledge of Xero, Quickbooks and Sage would also be useful, however training can be given on any of these as needed. The role will be circa 20-25 hours per week, with flexibility regarding how these hours are spread, to suit the right candidate.
