Hours: Mon-Thurs 08:00-16:30 / Fri 07:30-15:00

Our client is a market leader in the field of gas spring design, manufacturing and the supply of motion control products and they have now reached an exciting stage of growth where they are looking to expand the team. The Benefits:
· £30,000-£40,000 salary dependent on experience (£14-£19 per hour)
· Holidays 28 days inclusive of Bank Holidays
· Overtime paid @ 1.5x when available
· Christmas shutdown
· Annual attendance bonus - 2 week salary sliding scale (after 1 year of service)
· Yearly pay reviews
· Ongoing commitment to training and progression - some external training days

The Role:
· Program, set and operate 3, 4 & 5 axis, twin-spindle Hyundai and Citizen lathes using Fanuc controls to produce precise components for a variety of industries.
· Produce small and large batches of precise components working to extremely tight tolerances to ensure quality expectations are met.
· Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings to produce components using a variety of materials efficiently and effectively.
· Follow and adhere to company Health & Safety policies and procedures.

The Requirements:
· Minimum 2 years experience working with CNC Turning machinery using Fanuc controls (essential)
· Proven ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings (essential)
· Previous experience using Hyundai and Citizen machinery (advantageous)
· Previous experience working with twin-spindle and/or twin-turret machinery (advantageous)
· Willingness to train and progress
· Must buy into company ethos and want to help the business grow
