We are looking for a warehouse Supervisor for our client Bourne End.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 to 17:30Salary: £28,000

Duties:

  • Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching orders.
  • Coordinate and manage the work of warehouse staff, ensuring high productivity and performance.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely handling of goods, including proper storage and inventory management.
  • Ensure that health and safety policies and procedures are strictly followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor stock levels to ensure accurate inventory counts.
  • Liaise with other departments (such as Procurement, Logistics, and Customer Service) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Train and develop warehouse staff to enhance their skills and ensure they meet performance standards.
  • Address and resolve any operational or logistical issues as they arise.
  • Manage equipment and machinery maintenance schedules to avoid downtime.
