Senior Administrator / Office Manager
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 p/a, D.O.E (pro rata if part-time)
Type of Role: Permanent, 4-5 days per week
ARC are recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction company for an experienced Senior Administrator/Office Manager. This is a key role within the business, supporting various operational functions, including administration, HR, payroll, and finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Management & Administration – Overseeing day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and organisation.
- HR Administration – Handling employee records, contracts, onboarding, and supporting HR-related queries.
- Payroll & Accounts – Assisting with payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, and financial administration.
- Facilities Management – Ensuring the smooth running of the office, including supplier management and compliance with health & safety regulations.
- Compliance & Policies – Supporting HR policies and procedures, with knowledge of employment law being beneficial (but not essential).
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in a similar role (Senior Admin, Office Manager, HR Administrator, or related).
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general finance tasks.
- HR administration experience, with employment law knowledge being a bonus.
- Experience working in an office environment within construction or a similar sector would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Confident working in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
