Position: CAD Design Engineer - Fabrication
Location: Bourne, Lincolnshire
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:00 - 17:00, flexible)
Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 per annum, with a profit share bonus benefit

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and is on the lookout for a gifted and proactive CAD Design Engineer. Based in Bourne, Lincolnshire, the company is celebrated for its dedication to quality, efficiency, and innovation. Key Responsibilities:
- Innovate and develop new products, and enhance existing ones using 2D and 3D CAD (SolidWorks).
- Collaborate with tooling, including CNC cutting, mould making, prototype production, and fitting.
- Generate detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) and precise fitting instructions.
- Work closely with the sales team to meet and exceed client requirements.

Skills and Experience Required:
- Mastery of 2D & 3D CAD, particularly SolidWorks.
- Proficiency in producing clear, accurate technical drawings for sales presentations and production.
- Experience with lightweight fabricated structures, hinges and fixings, bonding and joining, sheet metal fabrication, GRP moulding, and thermoforming techniques is highly desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding time management skills.
- A driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
