About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and is on the lookout for a gifted and proactive CAD Design Engineer. Based in Bourne, Lincolnshire, the company is celebrated for its dedication to quality, efficiency, and innovation. If you are ready to make a significant impact with your design skills, this opportunity is tailor-made for you.Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovate and develop new products, and enhance existing ones using 2D and 3D CAD (SolidWorks).
  • Collaborate with tooling, including CNC cutting, mould making, prototype production, and fitting.
  • Generate detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) and precise fitting instructions.
  • Work closely with the sales team to meet and exceed client requirements.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Mastery of 2D & 3D CAD, particularly SolidWorks.

  • Experience with lightweight fabricated structures, hinges and fixings, bonding and joining, sheet metal fabrication, GRP moulding, and thermoforming techniques is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding time management skills.
  • A driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
